If your question isn't covered here, the About page explains what True Father is — and isn't.

Is this only for dads who live apart from their kids?

No. True Father serves any father who wants to show up prepared and consistent: dads connecting across households or from a distance, dads on deployment, dads who travel for work, and dads who live at home but want more than “How was your day? Good.”

Can I use this if I live with my child?

Absolutely. The prep works at bedtime, at the dinner table, or in the car just as well as over FaceTime. Distance is one reason connection slips — busyness is another. The material works either way.

Does True Father make or host calls?

No. True Father doesn't place, host, schedule, or record calls, and it never connects to your child. It gives you preparation — a story, a question, a joke, an activity, a blessing — for the FaceTimes, phone calls, and bedtimes you already have. You bring the moment; we make sure you don't walk into it empty-handed.

Is this religious?

Only as much as you choose. Every ritual ends with The Blessing, and you decide what that is: a Christian prayer, a general blessing, or a non-religious affirmation. Nothing religious appears anywhere unless you selected it.

Can I choose prayer or affirmation?

Yes — you pick it every time you build prep, and you can change it whenever you want. Christian prayer, general blessing, or non-religious affirmation. Your choice shapes how every piece of content ends.

What ages is this for?

Roughly ages 3 through the teen years. You pick an age range — 3–5, 6–8, 9–12, or 13+ — and the content is written for it: simpler stories and shorter moments for little ones, more substantial stories, questions, and Legacy Time conversations as they grow.

Is this therapy?

No. True Father is not therapy, counseling, or mental-health treatment, and it doesn't diagnose or advise on anything clinical. It's a practical system of stories, questions, and prep. If you or your child are working through something serious, a licensed professional belongs in the picture too.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Both plans are month to month. You can cancel from your billing page whenever you want — no phone calls, no retention hoops. You keep access through the end of your paid period.

What is included in each plan?

The free story + prayer is a one-time personalized sample by email. The Connection Plan ($40/month) is the weekly prep plan: the weekly True Father package, Today's Call Prep, the True Father 5 rhythm, and a 14-day history — for one child or the whole crew. The Legacy Plan ($80/month) is the full system: Tonight Mode, Character Missions, plus the Weekly Dad Schedule and multi-child tabs as they roll out, with the full archive and downloads included.

How does the dashboard work?

Open Today's FaceTime / Call Prep, tell us just enough to make it personal — a first name or nickname, an age range, what they're into, and what you need today — and your prep is ready to read off your phone. Each week, fresh material also lands on your dashboard and in your email. Connection Plan members see the current week plus a recent archive; Legacy Plan members keep everything.

Do I have to share custody, divorce, or personal family details?

No. True Father does not need those details to help you prepare for a better father-child moment, and it never asks for them. We use lightweight inputs — an age range, interests, tone, and what you need today. Optional context can help tailor suggestions, but it is never required to get value.

Do children create accounts?

No. True Father is built for dads. Children do not create accounts, and we do not build child profiles — a nickname and an age range attached to the content it created is the extent of it.

Why does True Father save generated content?

So you can return to your dashboard, reuse what worked, access your archive based on your plan, download where your plan includes it, and keep a practical record of the connection material you've created. It's your material, in your account, for you.

How is information used?

Only to create your content. We ask for just enough to make it personal — a first name or nickname, an age range, and interests — and we store those answers with the content they created, not as a standing file on your child. Your child never has an account or logs in. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising, and you can delete your content and account whenever you choose.
